Steve is a remarkable man. Blind from the age of 12, Steve has battled, and overcome more challenges and barriers than most people will ever face. Steve is now a triple world record holding sportsman, pilot, golfer, business entrepreneur and motivator of young minds.

At the heart of his work is a belief that every child matters and that each deserves to be motivated and inspired to achieve his or her potential. Steve now visits schools, colleges and universities across the country, inspiring pupils and students to reach for the stars and break their own barriers to success. His deeply-moving and personal story, taking him from despair to success captivates people of all ages, and he will also help you convey specific messages to selected focus groups via his tailored workshops. The engagement and respect gained from your students will lead to a huge change, improvement and development in the way they deal with themselves and their peers.

A typical day consists of a presentation, followed by workshops with smaller groups, focusing on topics of your choice, generally as part of the Citizenship and PSHE programme and embracing the 'Every Child Matters'. Working with smaller groups, Steve motivates both high achievers and those who hold more limited expectations; instilling in all the importance of determination to make the best of their abilities.
