Mindy Gibbins-Klein is an International Speaker and Trainer, and an award-winning author and co-author of 12 books and hundreds of articles and videos on confidence, self-expression and leadership.
A native New Yorker, Mindy has lived in the UK for the past 31 years, and she likes to think she brings the best of both worlds to her audiences.
A sought-after and multi-award-winning entrepreneur, Mindy has been a Young Enterprise business adviser for 3 years, including getting her YE companies into two regional finals!
However, her proudest achievements are her two grown children, both of whom have had major disruption and challenge to cope with in life.
Having a transgender son was not something Mindy anticipated, and in her view, she didn’t handle things very well. She shared her story with courage and vulnerability in a TEDx talk earlier this year, which has had nearly one million views!
Mindy’s other son has been a dancer from the age of three, having to make tough choices and dealing with practical as well as social challenges in pursuing his passion.
Mindy is now focused on helping more young people gain the confidence they need to accept themselves, challenge themselves and express themselves.
She is also a fierce advocate and role model for female leadership and encouraging more thoughtfulness in society.
