Julie Creffield is a
serial entrepreneur and business legacy strategist with a passion for changing
the narrative around what wealth is, and how you can get more of it no matter
your background. Author of the book How NOT to be Broke, she tells the story of
being raised in a single parent family of 6 kids on the edge of a council
estate in East London.
When teachers asked her what she wanted to be when she grew up, she replied
"NOT POOR" she has gone on to get a first class degree, and a masters
and started her career using the arts to help young people on the edges of the
criminal justice system to tell their stories. She went on to work on the
London 2012 Olympics as a community engagement strategist, before setting up
her own consultancy and launching her first online business.
She now lives in a gorgeous barn conversion in the hertfordshire countryside
with her daughter Rose, where she works with thousands of solopreneurs each
year to grow their businesses. She is a international keynote speaker on the
topics of productivity, purpose and profit and is a proud ambassador for the
charity Street Child which helps give access to a quality education in some of
the worlds most challenging environments.
