Jon was a young boy living on a typical council estate in Yorkshire until 1995 came along. His life was about to change for what should be the best. He joined the British Army straight from school and mapped out his future to include promotions, training and personal development.
Jon served for just short of 15yrs as a Royal Engineer and saw action in multiple war zones including The Balkans, Kosovo and Iraq along with Northern Ireland. Serving in those environments at such a young age seeing the things they see is why Jon believes soldiers lose a little of themselves each time they tour.
Jon’s journey “From Bullets to Business” tells a story of how one young boy became a man but then had to readjust his attitude to become a warrior, as he shares the highs and the lows of facing adversity. The 2 time world record holder and multiple business owner will have you on the edge of your seat or sat back in tears as he unravels his journey of cancer, personal illness, heartache, murder, the amputation and lots lots more.
Listening to Jon tell his motivational and inspirational and sometimes funny story can only inspire both young and older individuals to sit up and face life’s challenges. It gives them an understanding that their attitude and how they adopt it decides their future.
