Georgina Jones is an award-winning coach, author, TEDx speaker, and experienced facilitator known for her warm, human approach to wellbeing, communication, and the power of energy in shaping culture.
She is the creator of Grief Disco a movement and series of experiences that help people process grief and reconnect with joy through music, community, and honest conversation. This work grew from Georgina’s own lived experience following the death of her son, Osian, and has become a central part of her mission.
Georgina is deeply passionate about helping schools have better, more compassionate conversations about grief.
With grief and bereavement becoming a formal part of the RSHE curriculum from September 2026, her work supports schools to feel confident, prepared, and human in how these conversations are held.
Alongside this, Georgina has spoken in many schools about communication, connection, and the power of energy, drawing on her Turn Lights On concept, a simple, practical framework that helps create positivity, kindness, and stronger relationships across the school community.
With extensive experience across both state and independent schools, Georgina has delivered keynotes, workshops, and wellbeing programmes for educators across the UK. She has been a keynote speaker at the National Head Teachers Conference and has worked with organisations including the NHS, Welsh Government, Ministry of Defence, and leading UK brands.
Georgina’s sessions leave people feeling seen, supported, and equipped with practical tools they can use straight away helping schools build cultures where wellbeing, connection, and honest conversation truly matter.
