Debbie inspires, educates and nurtures our young peoples minds, equipping them with the tools and strategies to build their self-esteem, develop positive body images and grow their self-confidence. Her talks are well received and she delivers them with sensitivity, encouraging a healthy holistic approach to living a well balanced life.

Debbie’s expertise and experience comes as a mum of 3, a qualified emergency nurse, emotional health practitioner, youth leader and specialist in stress management. Following her own experience as a Mum of a teen who attempted suicide, she developed the T.H.I.N.K programme designed to help young people with their emotional resilience, mental health and well being. Recently Debbie has launched the S.o.S (Save our Streets) initiative, which has been set up to educate and offer support to parents and their children. It tackles difficult subjects such as addiction, abuse, self harm, domestic violence, sexual health, teenage pregnancy and mental health. As a result of her work she has won a Natwest Venus – 'Most Inspiring Woman' award.

Debbie is speaking with schools and youth groups all over the world. Her mission is to create a global community of young people who will impact their generation and bring hope where once there was none - and see legacies of those communities society had once written off transformed, through education, encouragement and empowerment. Her heartfelt message and vision has transformed her local youth project inspiring young people to take care of themselves, each other and their community. Her talks are delivered with an oozing empathy and sense of fun that students connect to immediately.

Testimonials from Teachers

"The whole experience of Debbie coming to speak to parents, work with tutors and then with students was hugely rewarding for all involved. Debbie listened to our context and wishes for the day and prepared very carefully; this meant she pitched at just the right level to staff, parents and students. She is so passionate about mental health, and her enthusiasm and drive is infectious. Her honesty and vulnerability in letting us know her reasons for going into this was inspiring. She prepared resources for the students (a wonderful introductory video), sheets of summary strategies and her brilliant ‘Table Talk’ resource for parents which was warmly received. We have since had emails from parents thanking us for inviting Debbie. We have also had questions from another colleague in another school asking for her. Debbie’s visit was a huge success, massively valuable and has opened up vital conversation surrounding our girls’ mental health and the impact of technology. She allowed us to reflect, discuss and question our practices and opinions in a safe, trusting environment with no judgement. I honestly cannot recommend her more highly; we hope this to be the start of a wonderful working relationship with the school - our girls, our tutors and our parents."

– Holly Fuller, Surbiton High School

“The inspirational work Debbie has done with our students also impacted their families. Her message is powerful and relevant to us all. She delivered her message with an equal mix of compassion, empathy and authority. After she had shared her knowledge with the students, many of them were keen to speak to Debbie. She was patient and sensitive as she answered their questions. I highly recommend her sessions, they have had a positive impact on our students."

– M.Armstrong, Deputy Head, Tile Hill Wood School and Language College

"I attended a talk given by Debbie in Bristol. As a member of the Professional Speaking Association, I tend to be more critical of speakers than most people would be; but this lady engages immediately with her audience. Her message is powered by stories, which all of us related. Debbie is a top drawer influential speaker."

– Barry Jackson, Company Director, BWJ Enterprise

“We engaged Debbie to deliver four workshops to our different year groups during our Arts week. She rose to the challenge with passion and enthusiasm which was contagious. The students thoroughly enjoyed engaging with her and the teachers also benefited from having her around. The feedback from the students asked is Debbie could be a teacher at our school. We will certainly be asking her back.”

– L. Dodson, Head of Department, Copthorne Preparatory School

"Debbie spoke at Mercury Expo and took the audience through an amazing journey - all in just 60 minutes. Her manner & delivery are exceptional and delegates have been raving about her ever since! Thank you Debbie!"

– Lizzie Jordan, Director at Yello Story

"Debbie recently spoke for us, and she was outstanding. It is not often a speaker gets so much positive response both during and after an event, but we were flooded with compliments regarding Debbie both at the show and post-show. Her main attributes were professionalism, humour, integrity, knowledge, and above all, empathy with her audience, and with a wide variety of people to satisfy her seminar was a major achievement. A pleasure to work with"
