Claire is passionate about health and well-being. Her mission is to help others to become healthier and enjoy life without illness.
When talking to students she highlights how things that may be important to them like skin condition, exercise capability, weight management, mental health and hormonal changes can be helped by choosing the right foods. Then using case examples to explain how the body works to embed the connection between a food type and body condition.
Claire also challenges social media communication with real life examples of foods and situations. She engages with the audience to elicit questions and debate.
A particular topic of debate is junk food, what is it and why it is harmful. Claire provides examples e.g. quavers and refers to credible research to explain the risks of eating too many of these foods.
Some students ask questions in the group and others approach Claire afterwards or via Instagram to ask more personal questions. Either way, the students feel able to ask for advice.
Claire is a mum of 2 boys aged 21 and 23, whose family is sporty and enjoys good food, including cake :)
