Callum uses his personal journey of being diagnosed with ADHD and Dyspraxia at a young age and the challenges he faced as result of this. From bullying and failing classes to establishing 3 successful businesses, alongside highlighting the challenges he has faced mentally.
Being 19, students connect with him on a level that is unique through his understanding of the issues facing their generation and the effects these have, Callum also talks openly about his attempt to take his own life. Callum delivers a powerful speech aimed to inspire young people to give 100% effort, ignore peer pressure and the need to fit in, and overall raise ambitions with a mentality to keep going despite adversity. Callum also speaks about the importance of being a good person, and adding value in both business and personal life, addressing issues such as bully whilst doing so.
"From the outset Callum drew my attention with his entrepreneurial, forward thinking and unblinkered approach to the choices he could make for his own future, as well as selflessly helping others explore their own opportunities. As an ambassador for the Seckford Foundation’s Springboard mentoring he was amazing. With a relatively short time to prepare, he fully embraced the whole ethos, vision and message of the mentoring programme he was with us to promote. A star performance for the faultless live interview on the BBC too."– Jenny Stockman, Youth Opportunity Manager, Ixworth School
"Callum presented at our Careers Day. He spoke with great confidence and in a way that meant he connected with our students. A fantastic role model for young people and for those who don’t always have the easiest routes to success."– Mark Barrow, Chief Operating Operator & Head Master, Seckford Education Trust
"Callum engaged with our younger students on a unique level that I have not seen before. Callum delivered a speech to our 16-18 year old students, who many have come from disadvantaged backgrounds. His style of speaking and personal story, resonated with the students to a visible effect. For a 19 year old his outlook on life is unique and very powerful"– Thomas Smith, Business Lecturer, SNC
