Traveller's Tales - How to become a better story teller

Sarah Tucker is a best selling novelist (author of the best selling The Playground Mafia), and award winning broadcaster and journalist. She has presented the BBC Holiday Programme for the BBC, as well as presented and produced the Jazz Fm Travel Guide and reports for Classic Fm, as well as award winning documentaries for the Discovery Channel.

She started practicing yoga in her thirties when she had to juggle novel deadlines with parenting and travel, and found it an excellent way to focus the mind.

She has taught yoga and mediation in schools for the past three years, and held talks to assemblies with up to 1000 pupils and teachers, engaging them in the relevance and fun aspect of yoga and meditation into their every day lives. A natural speaker thanks to her radio and TV experience, Sarah presents a very fun, fast paced presentation which engages the children and teachers immediately, leaving them engaged, focused and wanting to know more.

Testimonials from Teachers

"The sessions were fantastic, capturing the children’s imagination and giving them to the opportunity to try a variety of different poses and actions. All these sessions were of the highest quality and perfectly designed to address the abilities and limitations of the children. Sarah’s personality and nature meant that both the children and staff felt relaxed, confident and were willing to try the activities in a safe and positive environment."

– David A. Bell, Headmaster, Woodlands Preparatory School
