"Please could you pass on this message of thanks to Phil for attending our ‘Certificate Presentation Evening’ last night. He was absolutely superb and had staff, parents and students howling with laughter at his anecdotal scenarios. We were all thoroughly engaged and indeed inspired. The evening is always the highlight of the academic year for me: a little like the Oscars of the education world. We had a wonderful evening and would most certainly like to have Phil at Great Barr Academy once more."– Ingrid Abrahams, Great Barr Academy
"When Phil attended our Black Heritage event, the children were excited and enthused by his presentation. It was lovely to hear about his journey to the Olympics and how this was influenced by his family and personal choices. Phil has a range of skills and ideas and prospects which will benefit any school. It was a pleasure working with him."
"Phil attended our presentation evening and made a powerful and important contribution to the occasion. Many pupils parents and governors and friends of the school were in attendance and many commented on how much they enjoyed Phil’s comments. Throughout the evening he was humble and inspirational and spoke with passion and integrity… He is clearly an outstanding ambassador both for the DofE and the enduring spirit of the Olympic Games"
"Phil came and spoke to a mixed audience of students and parents and was absolutely brilliant. One of the parents emailed me the next day to say 'Your chosen speaker was outstanding …. One of the most motivating and real speakers I’ve heard, so what an extra treat to be there'"
