Leah is an experienced coach, speaker and group facilitator that supports young people in becoming their own best friend. She teaches young people simple positive habits, so they can take care of their own happiness and well-being.
Leah is bilingual and can deliver presentations in English and Welsh. Leah has 14 years experience of working with young people and families with substance misuse issues, mental health problems and children in care. She uses her experience and understanding of working with addiction and those who have developed destructive habits, to help young people create positive healthy habits in their lives. She has also personally experienced in her own family the devastation that poor mental health can cause if left untreated and that is why she is passionate about empowering young people to take care of their happiness, so that they trust in themselves, and feel optimistic about their future.
Leah’s talks are sought after by organizations, schools and parent networks who are looking for a session that is fun and uplifting, while still delivering a powerful message. Her warm, friendly and down to earth approach puts the audience at ease and leaves them with a new way of thinking.
Here are some of the topics Leah loves to talk about:
“I think that the talk was pitched perfectly and engaged all students. I think that the video clip really made students reflect on what they could achieve if they just put their mind to it. Our students enjoyed the talk and said it was one of the best they had been to all year. We would love to work with Leah in the future and I would recommend her without hesitation to other schools.”– John Roe, Head of 6th Form, Radyr Comprehensive School, Cardiff
