Mental health is fast becoming a key topic in today’s world. Jo believes that we all have the ability to be happy and resilient, sometimes we just need someone to teach us how. Practising Mindfulness helps to manage stress, anxiety and overwhelm both as a member of staff and for students in the lead up to exams.
“We were delighted to invite Jo Howarth into our school to share with our Year 11 students a range of stress busting tips and techniques. Students and staff gained a lot from her sessions. She related well to our students and her relaxed approach made the atmosphere conducive to learning. Students remembered the techniques well. We will definitely be doing more business with Jo in the future."– Sonia Cross, Education Business Manager, Broadgreen International School
“Jo Howarth offered an hour long de-stress workshop for all staff to attend. She works in a very flexible way and was able to adapt to our training requirements efficiently. Jo also provided some take away helpful resources to aid with stress management. Some of the techniques taught can be used as life- long skills. As the trainer, Jo herself was well organised and very calm giving all participants confidence to join in”.– Carol Gowan, Headteacher, Eccleston Lane Ends Primary School
