Testimonials from Teachers

'I was lucky to have sat in on a number of Ben's sessions with our students. It was incredible to watch. I saw students opening up and talking about themselves and their lives in ways that I had never saw them do prior to this. I could see the changes happening in front of me. Ben's natural humour, his passion and his excellent communication skills created an atmosphere in which the students thrived and truly learned how to be resilient.'

– Ken McCabe, Lay Chaplain, Maricourt Catholic High School

'Ben is a fantastic trainer with the ability to engage and take people with him with his calm and approachable style. His quick wit and ability to show his own vulnerability is invaluable in helping people open up quickly and fully when learning new skills. He is an accomplished public speaker and presenter and supports people to gain confidence in their own abilities quickly. His sense of fun makes him a pleasure to work with.'

– Carla Burns, Associate Director, LUFT

'A really thought-provoking session. I feel proud of all our work but also proud given everyone’s pandemic challenges and the fact it hasn’t stopped us looking after all those that need our help. I feel in a better place to power on, but I think I will do it being a bit kinder to myself at the same time’

‘Never expected it to be so emotional. It was such a comfortable environment to be open and honest, which was shown in the fact people were able to share some of their personal experiences. It made me realise that I wasn’t the only one feeling isolated working from home, a lot of people I’ve spoken to are enjoying working from home & felt in the minority’

‘Ben, hats off to you in how you facilitated the session. You hit the right balance in terms of letting the conversations flow, but also probing at the right point. On the day of the course, I was taken aback by how powerful the discussion was and openly seeing the impact Covid has had on people as human beings, not staff, not employees, and not job roles. Having reflected over the past week, the impact and context of the discussion hasn’t been lost. The emotional introductions set an incredible tone to the session, but the structure of the conversation and breakout groups are something I will never forget’
