Combating bullying and helping young people find their voices, one school at a time

'Scouse and proud' 37 year old Kate’s work within schools consist of her two main passions with young people: bullying and enterprise.

Bullied herself in high school, Kate carried the wounds into her late teenage and early adult years, understanding the motivations behind playground relationships. This spurred Kate on to certify as Master Practitioner in Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Hypnosis, and Time Line Therapy (TLT). Using these skills, Kate works with schools to provide a mentoring program for students, talks about bullying and delivers her powerful workshop Stop, Look & Listen Against Bullying.

With the perspective of adult eyes, Kate has created an interactive workshop with children for children on the subject of bullying. Participants are encouraged to examine their own responses and the views of others when considering how different situations could be handled. Upon completion, each child receives a certificate which reinforces their commitment to taking positive steps towards eradicating bullying from the playground.

In July 2013 Kate sat on the judging panel for The National Enterprise. Over 10,000 students from 58 schools entered with 350 making the final in London. The students pitched to Kate and other judges from the world of business with the shortlisted few making one final pitch at the awards night. Kate’s eye for talent served her well, with her chosen finalists scooping the top prize presented by Lord Sugar. She has now been invited to bring schools in Gloucestershire onto the scheme and deliver the workshops in person.

Kate also offers CPD trainings for Office staff as well as Teachers. The most commonly requested are:
