Young people never fail to amaze us with their knowledge on the latest Electronic “gizmos”.
The TH!NKDO model encourages students to work in groups to form businesses that will be recycling the “old” generation of electronic goods from IPods, games consoles and laptops to hair straighteners.
With a real “working” business behind TH!NKDO, our enterprise event gives students the opportunity to work through key business tasks – namely marketing 4Ps, financial planning and audience/brand awareness. Transferable skills such as teamwork and decision making are also developed throughout the day, culminating with all the participating students delivering a presentation to demonstrate their creative ideas and explain their business plan.
Our TH!NKDO enterprise event offers students the chance to use their own ICT and media knowledge and skills as part of the ‘creative’ process but we also provide Flip Video Cameras and “Tablet” technology to capture both the students’ and teacher’s imagination.
TH!NKDO customise their enterprise days to meet the needs of individual schools and can incorporate a business professional to speak at the event if that is desirable.
Testimonial from Mike Benstead at Diss High School
“Thanks to all at TH!NKDO for a superb day of enterprising activity at Diss High School. The students have not stopped talking about the day. I even had the pleasure of an email from a parent saying that they had never seen their son as animated by a school activity!”
