Tony North
Ancient history, arts, and learning specialist
After graduating in Psychology in 1988, Tony worked as a clinical psychologist and a research assistant before studying a Masters in Education in Manchester, then a Masters in Developmental Psychology at Penn State University.
Tony taught history for two years in Washington DC. He then returned home and developed his KS2 creative workshops, which combine three of his passions: ancient history, the arts, and teaching. These hands-on workshops are enormous fun, both for me and the children. Tony also wrote two children’s novels which he sells in his workshops – one set in ancient Egypt, one about the battle of Marathon.
Testimonial
"The workshop was amazing - the children even now cannot stop talking about it. What I personally liked is the way that you brought to life the Egyptians with your artifacts, paintings and writing. It was one perfect day, I myself learned so much and I thank you for that.”
