Young Entrepreneur

Michael Turner is an ambitious 19 year old, who has a passion for IT and technology. He is never more than a few metres away from his laptop and loves learning and working with new technology.

It has been his passion for IT and technology in general as well has his drive to continue to grow both personally and professionally that has seen him winning major awards; he was a finalist of the Shell-LIVEWire Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2009. In October 2010 he was awarded Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award at the Somerset Business Awards.

He is the Managing Director of TurnKey I.T Solutions, an award winning IT company in Somerset, which specialises in IT Consultancy, IT Support services and Web Development. They have recently launched ‘Staff Guardian’, an innovative staff safety solution for lone workers.

He developed his first website at 11 and has not looked back since, he now works on projects for both start-ups and national organisations across the country.

Michael is a pro-active entrepreneur who has already achieved major success and recognition at a young age.
