Sophie Mei

TV star, award winning journalist and entrepreneur.

Sophie was born and bred in the north of England in an area synonymous with crime but she used her diverse upbringing and experiences of bullying to push herself to follow her dreams. She committed herself to her language and drama studies and later appeared on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent where she made it to the live finals with her bellydancing talent.

Sophie has appeared on national television in front of the likes of Simon Cowell, Eamonn Holmes, Ben Shepherd as well as many other celebrities. She is regularly involved with the entertainment world through showbiz parties and premieres as well as festivals and awards ceremonies.
Not one to be complacent she has used her media contacts to pursue a career in journalism whilst completing a degree in Philosophy & Social Sciences with Italian. She now runs her own business MEI International ltd, which is the parent company for Verita Magazine, Sophie Mei Schools and Mei Media.
She enjoys sharing stories about the reality of television and the entertainment world as well as proving that drive and enthusiasm can make your dreams come true.
