Pete's presentations show how creativity and entrepreneurial thinking can work together to build an exciting and fulfilling career.

Pete works in the world of creative and talented people; filmakers, artists and craftspeople, designers, writers and foodies. He specialises in helping them create great business opportunitites from the things they are passionate about. Many of the very successful people he works with were not naturally academic at school, but nonetheless now enjoy well paid jobs or have built up their own successful creative enterprises.

His strong visual presentations show what a career in the creative industries really means. He offers talks and workshops on the following topics:

• Inside a creative business - how do people earn their living from the things they love to do?
• Inspirational sessions for less academic students that reveal pathways to success in the creative industries.
• Writing, talking and presentation skills - simple techniques to help young people write and/or talk confidently about themselves, so as to help them impress people with job applications, interviews, projects and presentations.

Pete's own story takes in life as a 'town artist', playing in bands, performing and teaching in schools in the UK and USA, (including being a world champion unicyclist) many appearances on TV and Radio, on the way to becoming a successful writer and author. His book 'Make Your Creativity Pay' is all about earning a living from the things you love to make and do. He writes for craft&design magazine (as their business editor) and contributes regularly to 'Creative Choices' and other creative industry websites and blogs.
