From Top of The Pops to top of the class- From 80's international Popstar Jive Bunny to successful Chief Executive.
Andy speaks regularly in schools, be that to whole year assemblies or specific groups, about his business and life experiences, with a major focus on the importance of creating your 'Personal Brand'.
Andy motivates students to think positively about their futures using his story as the backdrop. The talk is themed 'What's your destination?' and asks students to think ’What's your passion and can you build a career around it?’ Andy’s loves are music and creativity; as a successful international DJ he launched onto the music scene as Jive Bunny. He shows how a lad from a humble background in Rotherham can make it big in a tough industry
He covers themes of option choices and employability skills (what employers want) and destinations – what is their goal and how are they going to get there?
Andy talks about 'The Rise of Generation C' - how this generation are going to change the rules of engagement with employers, and how being part of the 'Connected' generation enables young people to develop enterprising ideas today through technology.
Andy also offers a lively enterprise day called ‘Who wants to be an entrepreneur?’
Testimonial
"Andy gave an inspiring and motivational talk to years 7-11 about how he has progressed from being an entertainer to a successful businessman. The students were engrossed for the full session which left them thinking 'I could do that' which should have a positive impact upon their attainment and progression into the world of work." Barbara Trayer, Assistant Principal. South Leeds Academy.
"Andy was the keynote speaker at our annual youth conference in November 2011 and the workshop he delivered to the young people from across the Babergh district was informative and inspirational. He is a fantastic presenter - he created a real buzz and related exceptionally well with his audience. It made for a fantastic youth event" Karina Coghlin, Event Manager
