Matthew has travelled the world on business and has translated meetings, conversations and reading into a high-energy presentation describing how the forces of technology, trends and skills are weaving together to form the new world in which we live, work and learn, how social media is not what it is perceived in some quarters and how people, skills and talent hold the key to absolutely everything.

Matthew is the Managing Director of Pearson VUE, the testing and credentialing division of Pearson.  He previosuly worked at global technology association CompTIA, as Vice President International, responsible for evangelising the organisation’s certifications and careers in IT for our next generation of learners, partnering with corporates and goverrnments around the world.

Having spent the past 25 years witnessing the everyday impact technology has on people and organisations first hand, he has accumulated a deep understanding for how to use learning and education to address the issues they face. His extensive knowledge, experience and connections developed during his career enables him to assemble global teams to tackle some of the most pressing technical issues businesses and society face.

Beyond his role at Pearson, Matthew is an accomplished speaker. His work has placed him at the heart of the changing technology landscape, offering a unique insight into where technology has come from, and where it is going. As a global decision maker he has a genuine worldwide perspective on technical developments and their impact on the way we live and work. He has used his experiences to create and deliver memorable speeches at corporate and social events for organisations including BT, Microsoft, Siemens and KyoceraMita Europe.
